Saat Phere (Seven Vows):
According to Hindu marriages in India, the couples take seven round of holy fire and that has mythological significance. It is also consider as the great ritual and custom of the marriage. Saat Phere is one the most important tradition in Indian wedding which is performed in front of all family members.
Kanyadaan:
Another important ritual of Indian marriage is Kanyadaa that takes exactly after Saat Phere. It is related to the emotions between bride and her parents. The ritual is performed according to Vedic carry outs and hymns.
Mangalsutra:
Mangalsutra is the most sacred ritual in Indian wedding tradition especially in Hindu weddings. Mangalsutra is a gold or diamond necklace that groom ties on bride neck which she keeps throughout her life. Mangalsutra has a great importance for the married Indian women.
Wedding procession - Bharat:
Bharat is one of the huge customs that takes in Indian wedding traditions. Bharat is all filled with fun, enjoy and entertainment. In this ceremony, groom goes to bride’s house with great procession along with band. After reaching there, they receive a warm welcome from bride’s side and then proceed with wedding ceremony.
