Hindu Marriage:
Hindu Marriage is one of the huge traditional weddings in India. Hindu Marriage is all full of rituals that have roots to the ancient time. The Marriage also depends on the region as well. Rituals on marriage is been practicing according to different regions along with caste and families. In Hinduism, there are many types of Marriage ceremonies that consist of Brahma marriage, Daiva marriage, Arsha marriage, Prajapatya marriage, Gandharva marriage, Asura marriage, Rakshasa marriage and Paishacha marriage.
Sikh Marriage:
Sikh Marriage is also known as Anand Karaj. Anand Karaj is the name that is given to Sikh marriage ceremony. Some of the rituals that are been perform before Sikh wedding are like Tahka (Roka), Shri Akhand Path Sahib, Kudmai (Sagai or Mangni), Chunni ceremony, Mehndi Ceremony and many other things.
The main function that take happens in Sikh Marriage are Sangeet Ceremony and Mehndi ceremony. These two functions are celebrated in very traditional way and have lot of culture things like music, dance cuisine and all.
Muslim Marriage:
The Muslim wedding ceremony is also known as ‘Nikaah.’ Muslim marriages take place in an Islamic way of customs. Muslim wedding is been practicing according to the faith of the Islam. In India, Muslim marriages are been practice like the marriages in middle-east. In India, the Muslim marriage ceremony lasts for three days that include of Sangeet ceremony, dance, music, reception and Nikaah ceremony.
Christian Marriage:
Christian Marriage takes place in the sacred church. In Christianity, marriage is honored but all the way through the Bible (holy book of Christians) it is not as compulsory for everyone. In India, Christian gets married under the Christian Marriage Act of 1872 which was passed by the British-Indian administration.
